Just a few minutes drive east of Jeongbang Falls, the Oedolgae Rock is located along the
Olle Trail, a series of 200km trekking path along the southern coast of Jeju Island.
One of the groups of Ajumma (아줌마) "middle-aged women" we saw with the distinctive short hair perm!
It is also one of the filming locations for the famous Korean drama Dae Jang Geum (大長今).
The rock is just a short downhill walk from the parking lot. The rock is 10m in circumference and 20m tall, and is surrounded by clear turquoise waters. It was formed by a volcanic eruption that occurred over 1.5million years ago,and is also known as the "Changgun" rock by the locals.
