How to get there: From Suncheon Intercity Bus Terminal, take bus 77, 99 or 777. Get off at Suncheon Open Film Set. From Suncheon Train Station, cross the overhead bridge (in green) on the left of the station, and walk towards the bus stop. Take bus 77 (8 stops, approx 28mins) to Suncheon Open Film Set.

Suncheon Open Film Set is one of the filming locations for Kim Tak Gu (Baker King), mainly for the first few episodes of the show showing young Tak Gu.

We were there on a Sunday and surprisingly it was not that crowded. I really love the set with the old buildings. I wish the set in Singapore is opened to public like this!

Fans of Running Man will also find this familiar! Episode 116 was filmed there!

Spotted this interesting looking bun that looked really like a toy bun! Turns out to be a real bun! The sign behind reads "Please do not touch. It is real!" 

If you are tired there is a small cafe near to the entrance where you can have some drinks.

After our visit to the film set, we had lunch at a local restaurant that has good reviews before heading back to Seoul!

The place serves a full course Korean meal (Hanjeongsik) and it's definitely worth it!! The galbi is super delicious and huge, and both of us had difficulty finishing everything! I really liked the side dishes too and it's different from what you normally see in Seoul since it's near the sea and there's more seafood!
