Traditional Korean restaurant selling stews and pancakes at very reasonable prices (stews and bibimbap are 5,500krw while pancakes are 10,000krw-13,000krw). The sides are refillable except for the marinated crabs. You can purchase the marinated crabs at 3,000krw per additional plate. 

Tobang is located in Insadong on the main street. If you are arriving from Anguk Station Exit 6, look out for it on your left.

There's English menu as well, and the host is actually able to identify whether you are local, and pass you the correct menu / attempts to speak to you in your language. Very funny and friendly!

 

Kimchi stew

The pancakes are huge and very delicious! Edges are crispy and they are very generous with the fresh ingredients! But, the portions are too big (1 stew & 1 pancake) if there's only 2 persons. Both times I had difficulty finishing the pancakes.

Marinated crabs - Many of you may be wondering.. How to eat it? Just bite the flesh from the body of the crab!
