The bridge transforms into a beautiful fountain at night, along with enchanting music!
The first day in Seoul was with some hiccups. I wanted to visit the underground mall at the express bus terminal because of the good deals that my sister has spoken of, but it was under renovation!!! We walked around for quite a long while before realizing that the construction site around the pathway we were circling was the underground mall!!! So we had dinner and decided to walk to Banpo bridge to watch the musical fountain.

Banpo Bridge (반포대교/ 盤浦大橋) - Moonlight Rainbow Fountain (달빛무지개분수/盘浦大桥月光彩虹喷泉)
Address: Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul-si 서울 서초구 반포동 首尔市瑞草区盘浦洞

The walk there was probably about 15-20mins, without much signs to guide us! I went by gut feel, and got there safely :)

It was still early when we reached, so we took a walk around the park. There wasn't many people when we reached, but we saw a group of people eating grapes and drinking wine! Really wanted to join them then!

The musical fountain shows are subjected to changes so do check before you go there.

By 7.30pm, the place was quite crowded with photographers with tripods for the beautiful night scenery! I wished I was one of them because my photos did not turn out so great!

The show started at 8pm and I couldn't help noticing that one of the sprays was spoiled. The show started with some nice songs, and guess what? They actually played "On the Street", a song that I like, sang by Sung Si Kyung! Pleasantly surprised I must say :)

Live Sung Si Kyung version

On the Street sang by Kyuhyun, one of my fave singers :)

After the show, we were contemplating whether to walk back to Jamsil or to the station on the other side of the bridge. From the map it seems nearer to walk to the other side of the bridge.

And we got lost! Thankfully we met an American who has been living in Korea for the last 10 years. He took us for a walk down a street selling antique, all the way to Itaewon station!
