Château de Versailles ~ The Palace, The Grand Trianon, Marie-Antoinette's estate and the Gardens

The Palace of Versailles is probably the grandest place I've ever been to. I don't remember seeing anything more impressive than this palace. The intricacy of the architecture and decorations make it worth a day trip on its own.

I saw the bluest of skies there. The weather made it picture perfect!
The Gardens
Oh yes, before we entered, the security guards told us to take care of our belongings! It's true! We saw groups of suspicious children / teenagers in pairs or groups and eyeing our belongings. They're the least likely suspects, so better be safe than sorry!
