Having missed the opening hours to the falls twice in a row, we made a diligent effort to reach the place at 3plus, since it was the last chance to visit before we fly to Busan the following day.

After the filming of Secret Garden, a "kissing bench" has been placed within the resort compound. This is where Ju-won and Ra-Im's souls first exchanged after the kiss! A funny and romantic fantasy drama. Do watch it if you have time! Hyun Bin is so cute!!
After a few failed attempts at finding a dinner place, we decided to go to E-Mart for dinner! (이마트 서귀포점) (064-797-1234)

Dinner was followed by shopping at E-Mart. You can buy local products from there as souvenirs, such as Hallabong tangerines 한라봉 감귤, Baeknyuncho 백년초 (a type of cactus), Omija Cha 오미자 차, Laver (Seaweed) 김, Tangerine Chocolate, Honey 꿀, etc, as well as household appliances and groceries. If not for my luggage limit, I may have gotten the Happycall pans, which are cheap!

Cheonjeyeon falls is a series of 3 waterfalls and it means the "The pond of God". Korean legend says that seven nymphs (Chilseonyeo) descended from the heavens at night to bathe in the pond.

Fans of Korean drama will definitely know Seaes Resort, where popular dramas such as Boys over Flowers 꽃보다 남자, Secret Garden 시크릿 가든, Princess Hours 궁 and I'm Sorry, I Love You 미안하다 사랑한다 were filmed. And that includes me! I have always wanted to stay at the resort ever since I watched Princess Hours. Nevertheless, the price was too steep to make any logical sense to me.
