What to eat in Korea ~ Haha's Pal Ja Mak Chang (팔자막창) in Hongdae (CLOSED)

Located in bustling Hongdae near the clubs, Paljamakchang (Hongdae) is opened by Running Man member Haha (Ha Dong-Hoon 하동훈)! Gary's branch is located in Gangnam along the street of restaurants. The BBQ restaurant specialises in pig intestines, and of course they serve the usual pork belly, soups, and alcohol. English translation is available in the menu so no worries if you do not understand Korean.

How to get there:

The restaurant is crowded during meal times, and quite noisy given the young crowd. I really like the atmosphere though! The graffiti wall is really nice too!

I'm not a fan of Soju, so makgeolli (Korean rice wine) was the best choice to go with bbq. 

Pork belly and intestines

For some reason we ended up with scorched rice, which we didn't really fancy. Probably a good choice if you are not feeling too well.

Shellfish soup

Prices for the meat are on the expensive side in my opinion (portions are quite small), but I'll probably go back again if I'm craving for intestines!
