Yet another filming location of Running Man! However I didn't watch that episode and only knew about it after researching. Oh yes, We Got Married (Jung Yoo Mi and Jung Joon Young) also filmed here. It's a pretty and quiet place to spend the day! There's a cafe, bakery, galbi restaurant, Italian fusion restaurant, florist, DIY museum, shops selling souvenirs like homemade jams, herb teas, soaps and others, Venetian themed area, and even a street with buildings of the olden days.

How to get there: Soyosan station, cross the road and take bus 57-1. The frequency of the bus is once every 2 hours. Stop at Herb Island stop (takes about 40 minutes), cross the road and walk straight for about 10mins.

Time required: 2 to 3 hours for a meal and lots of photo-taking

Gondolas, bridges and river, pretty Venice themed area which will probably be pretty to wander around in the evening, especially with the night festival.

I reached at 12noon after travelling for more than 2 hours from the south of Seoul, and went straight for the galbi restaurant, only to be rejected, as normal guests can only enter after 1pm, even if there are empty tables (they cater to tour groups first).

Another beautifully decorated building. I ordered the herb ice tea given the almost scorching weather outside, but it tasted more of cherryade than herb tea. It was a nice place to hide from the scorching heat though.

The smell of freshly baked bread will definitely lure you in, and you will be in for a treat as there's lots of samples! I tried some of the breads with herbs or flowers, but they tasted like normal bread. I decided on the herb garlic bread which was the crisp type, for 4,000krw a bag.

There's lots of photography opportunities, with the many beautifully decorated rooms and outdoors.
At the top of the park, you can find lavenders in bloom (1 May 2014 - 30 June 2014). It's a Santa garden so expect lots of Santas and photo zones.
Buildings and setup of the olden Korea, and some middle aged visitors were quite excited to reminisce their childhood days. Personally this is also one of my favourite places there. I've always been interested in how our parents' childhoods were like, and only can hope for a similar theme park or sort in Singapore.

Probably one of my favourite places there. Yes to aircon! Upon entering, the staff will apply essential oil on the back of your neck, and offer you herb tea!
I'm not a mint tea fan but the tea was really nice and refreshing.

There's 3 levels in the building. You'll probably enter from the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor sells home aromatherapy stuff and you can find aroma sachets and such. 
On the 1st floor you can relax on the massage chair with an aroma herbal pad on your shoulders.

For the craft lovers, you can experience DIY crafts here. Group reservation is required though.
Pretty pretty! Various activities available in the long building, though it was not very crowded on the Thursday I went. Every angle looks like a good angle for photography.
