We visited a few attractions that were close to one another, as we didn't want to drive so much. Turns out that it was not such a good idea because Miss Ting didn't get enough afternoon nap!

First location of the day was Southeast Botanical Garden. The compound is really big so allocate at least 2 hours for a relaxing stroll around. It was quite hot that day so we only stopped when there's shade. We spent most of the time at the small petting zoo. I think I enjoyed feeding the animals as much as Miss Ting did! 😆 For the rest of the garden, it's mostly tropical so nothing that is new or interesting to us who have lived in the tropics all our lives.

The zoo compound is really huge, but not as many animals as I expected. We rented a stroller from the entrance for 200yen, and it was worth the money! I can't imagine having to carry my little toddler around the entire zoo!

We had lunch at the small and cosy restaurant. The restaurant was quite crowded during lunch time, and guess what, we met the same family of tourists at our dinner place that night! What a coincidence! I found the unagi don average only - perhaps I had high expectations since I was in Japan afterall.

We love going to the supermarket when we are overseas! This is no exception and we spent some time at the supermarket to see what's interesting. I ended up buying yogurt instead of milk again for Miss Ting (like what I did in Hokkaido) 😅
