Bus stop at Green Tea Plantation (from Boseong Terminal)
The walk into the plantation from the bus stop takes about 5 minutes. You will pass by some shops at the right side and a huge carpark. Parking is free!
Map of the plantation
Before we entered the plantation, we stopped for lunch at the Heaven restaurant just next to the plantation entrance.
The place serves a variety of "green tea" dishes - beef stews, stir-fried beef, bibimbap, noodles, galbi tang, mandu, pancakes, etc.
As usual, the meal comes with a variety of side dishes, including marinated crabs!
Marinated crabs side dish
Green tea noodles (8,000 krw) - There's a mild green tea fragrance for the noodles (and even for the white rice), but other than that, the noodles is quite normal by Korean standard.
Entrance to the plantation. If you are carrying heavy bags, you can choose to leave your bags on the racks behind the entrance (at your own risk!) My friend left her backpack there and it was alright.
Green tea cafe / Souvenir Shop (next to the plantation)
Cafe Menu
Green tea latte, green tea ice cream and green tea affogato
The latte was not bad, but the ice cream was a bit too milky for my liking. I really love the rich matcha kind of ice cream.
Souvenir shop - I bought some green tea snacks from the place, and really liked the green tea chocolate which has a very strong green tea taste.
No special effects done to the photos, the place was as misty looking as per the photos, because it rained heavily just a few minutes after our arrival. It didn't dampen our selca spirit though! At least for me! Just look at how wet my cap became!
Wished the weather was better, but it was a trip I'll definitely remember for a long time to come!
